Data Loss Prevention is our core business activity. AMI are Northern Ireland’s leading IT Equipment Disposal specialists, established in 2001. The business was created to provide a full service covering all areas of IT Data Destruction & Electronic Equipment Disposal.
Working from premises in both Mallusk & Dublin, our main services include Fully Guaranteed Data Removal, WEEE Standard Recycling and Re-Marketing of IT equipment. Our fully guaranteed Data-Removal & Destruction services are designed to meet the UK Government CESG Standards, HMG Infosec Standard 5.
The products used, are tested and passed by the CESG, the Government’s IT Security Group. This secure and efficient disposal route has been employed by a wide range of Government Departments in NI & Ireland. In full compliance with the WEEE Regulations and response to the Government’s drive for recycling & re-use, AMI have put in place a fast and efficient IT & Electrical Equipment disposal Route. Our recycling methods already exceed the legal standards with implementation of the EU Regulation on Waste from Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE). With the high PC turnover in many Companies and Government Departments we are able to offer a re-marketing service for IT equipment. The revenue from this is used to cover the costs of the services and in many cases brings a return to our clients.
AMI have also launched a new ‘DiskShred’ on-site destruction service which shreds all types of electronic media. The DiskShred shredder lorry can destroy loose Hard Disk Drives (HDD), Back-up Tapes, USB memory keys, CD’s, DVD’s and Floppy Disks.
