Biography:
The Northern Ireland Civil Service has awarded eircom the contract to provide a managed network service for Network NI, initially for a six year term and extendable to 10 years. The contract will play a critical role in helping Northern Ireland’s Civil Service build a world class workplace infrastructure that will enable transformational government in Northern Ireland.
eircom has invested significantly in its network and service operations in Northern Ireland. We have established a state-of-the-art Network Operations Centre in Belfast which will employ staff in high value roles,including network engineers, project managers and qualified service professionals. We have also built a wide-ranging network infrastructure across Northern Ireland that is critical to our service offering. In order to meet our requirements to Network NI, eircom has developed key partnerships with world-class organisations: Fujitsu, Cable & Wireless and BT Wholesale.
