Guest speaker, Sinclair Stockman, the Digital NI 2020 Programme Director, offered a brief overview of the telecoms history and inspired the audience with a future now possible due to the unique infrastructure that the region now enjoys. The presenters explained what the investment means in real terms, why it's important to Northern Ireland, and how customers can get connected.

Tibus is marketing and supporting the first ever direct fibre-optic connection between Northern Ireland and the USA. This exciting new development unlocks global markets for local businesses, and makes Northern Ireland an attractive location for inward investment by Information Age companies from across the globe.

With more than 60 attendees this high-fibre breakfast briefing generated a lot of interest and turned out to be a great event.
