Momentum's Kate McMaster raises funds for Action Cancer

Kate McMaster who many of you will know from Momentum has been fund raising for Action Cancer. Kate and the female members of her family formed a team to take part in the Ballygowan Pink Moonlight walk in memory of her mother Betty.
“Our lovely mum and granny Betty Wilson took ill at the start of this year and sadly passed away within weeks of being diagnosed with cancer. We miss Betty so much and in memory of her we entered a team in the Moonlight Walk which takes place on the 18th of June as this would have been Betty's' 85th birthday. We want to raise funds that will help with early diagnosis so others can be cured. “
Joining Kate on
Team Betty was her sister Pamela, niece Carla, daughter Claire and LJ, or Lorna Jane her nephew’s fiancée. They completed the walk and managed to raise a total of £685 exceeding their target of £500. If you feel you would like to sponsor Kate you can still do so on her just giving page -
