Aetopia specialises in building scalable software architectures for Digital Asset Management.
Their primary product MediaCore is a scalable, distributed system that provides a powerful web-based repository for the secure storage, distribution, indexing, retrieval, syndication and sale of digital assets.
Digital assets can be many forms of rich digital media such as images, PDFs, text, movies and audio files.
Aidan spoke to Davy Sims about Aetopia and what Aidan expects to be the trends in asset management over the next 12 months including Cloud Computing and integrating assets with editorial systems.
